The Pittsburgh (DSL) Pirates 1 faced a tough opponent in Houston 2 (DSL) pitcher Juan Cervantes, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Houston Astros Blue by a final score of 11-8. Cervantes went 7 innings and allowed 1 run. Pittsburgh (DSL) pitcher Jorge Escobedo got the win. He's now 1-0. Ben Campbell was tagged with the loss.
