Fisher Cats Lose to Curve, 8-3
The Altoona Curve picked up a win at People's Natural Gas Field, knocking off the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, 8-3. Starting pitcher Darryl Cobb was a big reason why. With the win, the Curve are 15-29.

Ignacio Gonzáles had a big 2-run double for the Curve in the bottom of the seventh inning. With Altoona leading 4-3 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from former first round draft pick Randall Colwill and swatted a double to right. It was his 2nd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Curve ahead, 6-3.

"Darryl did a heck of a job," said Altoona manager David Ortiz.
