Grizzlies Rally Late to Clip Colorado Springs
The Fresno Grizzlies and Colorado Springs Sky Sox played an entertaining game for Security Service Field patrons.

The Colorado Springs Sky Sox got a superb performance from pitcher Ernie Cole, but the Fresno Grizzlies still won the game, 3-2. Cole threw 7.0 innings of 4-hit ball. Thom Stevens picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 2-1. Dan McCurley, who is tied for 2nd in the PC in saves with 17, was tagged with the loss.

Juan Alaorbar had a direct impact on the outcome. Alaorbar contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the ninth inning to put Fresno up, 3-2.

"We found a way to get it done," Alaorbar said.

Fresno raised its record to 65-53 with the win.
