Thunder Topple SeaWolves with Late Rally
The Erie SeaWolves and Trenton Thunder left the fans buzzing.

Jorge López, who is tied for 5th in the EL in innings pitched with 140.1, was locked in. The right-hander led the Trenton Thunder to a 7-4 win against the Erie SeaWolves at Arm & Hammer Park. López, now 5-10, was the winner. In 9 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 3, walking 0, and allowing 4 runs.

Jeimer Candelario went 2 for 4 with 2 singles and a walk for Trenton. The 31-year old first baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 4-4 tie with a run-scoring walk off Jorge Domínguez. It was his 59th walk of the season.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," López told the Trenton Times. "It's as simple as that."

The Thunder bumped their record to 52-43 with this latest triumph.
