The home crowd had a good time watching the Bowie Baysox and Erie SeaWolves get after it.

The Erie SeaWolves downed the Bowie Baysox, 8-3. The hitting star was third baseman Joe Roberts. Roberts was 1 for 1 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the SeaWolves. Erie reliever António Hernández picked up the win, upping his record to 2-3. Jesús Pérez absorbed the loss. Hyun-jin Ryu earned the save, his 1st in 1 tries.

Amilcar Uribe had a big run-scoring double for the SeaWolves in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Erie leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from Jesús Pérez and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 13th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the SeaWolves ahead, 2-0.

"It's always great to put the barrel on the ball and contribute," said Roberts.

The Baysox, now 48-50, have lost 4 in a row.
