Brevard County Sends St. Lucie Packing with 2-0 Loss
Brevard County registered a win at Tradition Field by beating the St. Lucie Mets, 2-0. Pitcher Ernie Cole was one reason why the Manatees triumphed. Cole picked up the win for Brevard County, going 7 innings. He gave up no runs on 3 hits. He now sports a record of 2-0. St. Lucie is 8-6 after the loss.

The Manatees got a big at-bat from left fielder Jared Younger. For the game, Younger went 1 for 4 with a double. In the top of the first, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 3rd double of the season gave Brevard County a 1-0 lead.
