Threshers Deal Marauders 6-2 Loss
Though the conditions were not ideal, the Clearwater Threshers and Bradenton Marauders came back from a rain delay to finish their game.

The Clearwater Threshers used a stellar performance from pitcher Kade Lynch to throttle the Bradenton offense en route to an extra-inning, 6-2 win at Calvin Falwell Field. Clearwater reliever Dan Davis got the win, raising his record to 3-0. José Alou was tagged with the loss.

Clearwater used the timely hitting of Greg Dunlap to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 15th inning to put the Threshers on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 8 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"I just tried to attack the bottom of the zone," Lynch said.

Clearwater is now 21-23, Bradenton 21-23.
