Marauders Grind Out 2-0 Win

The Bradenton Marauders picked up a win at Calvin Falwell Field, knocking off the St. Lucie Mets, 2-0. Starting pitcher Phil Wise played a key role in the triumph. The Marauders, at 51-61, inhabit 5th place in the FSL South.
The Marauders had to work out of trouble in the top of the ninth. The score was 2-0, Bradenton, with one out. St. Lucie, with a runner on 1st, was mounting a threat. Reggie Turner dug in at the plate, but on a 3-1 fastball, he hit into a double play.
