Bannatyne Cracks 5 Hits Wednesday, August 26th , 2026 It was a magical day at the plate for Clearwater Threshers second baseman Lou Bannatyne. The 25-year-old Bannatyne helped lift Clearwater to a win, 5-4, over the Lakeland Flying Tigers at Bright House Field. Bannatyne smacked 5 hits in 7 at-bats to spark his club. Lou Bannatyne grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, flied out in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 8th, singled in the 10th and singled in the 13th.
