Chacón Sensational, 5-for-6 Sunday, August 16th , 2026 David Chacón was sizzling at the plate. The DSL center fielder blistered the DSL Blue Jays for 5 hits in 6 at-bats, but couldn't prevent his club from falling to defeat, 12-10. "Chacón was too tough to get out today," Blue Jays skipper Edwin Encarnacion said in a postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too. But hey, I don't mind if every game somebody gets 5 hits off us, as long as we win." David Chacón singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Jorge Guzmán in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit a two-run home run off Brit Johnson in the 8th and flied out in the 10th.
