Tradition Field was the site of an exciting ballgame between the St. Lucie Mets and Fort Myers Miracle.
St. Lucie Mets starter Caleb Nix found his groove in his team's 3-2 win over the Fort Myers Miracle. Nix picked up the win for St. Lucie, going 8 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 2-1. Luis Lucero recorded the save for St. Lucie, his 4th of the season.
In the bottom of the third, Dan Stout delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and the bases loaded, the St. Lucie right fielder hit a 2-run single, putting the Mets in front, 3-2.
Stout told reporters after the game: "All's well that ends well."
The Miracle are now 6-9.
