Another day, another victory for the red-hot Charlotte Stone Crabs.

The St. Lucie Mets took it on the chin, losing, 14-2, to the Charlotte Stone Crabs. Ed LaGarde, who is tied for 5th in the FSL in innings pitched with 47.1, pitched a strong game for Charlotte. The winning streak has now reached 8 games for Charlotte.

LaGarde's performance can only be described as masterful. He notched 7 strikeouts in 7.1 innings while allowing 2 hits. LaGarde, who is tied for 8th in the FSL in strikeouts with 43, goes to 4-3 on the year with 43 strikeouts.
